Guards are sent to defend their hold from invaders in the Civil War. Added multiple hold guard patrols to each hold. This also means that patrols won't be encountered as often, but when they do, they will come in large quantities, meaning battles tend to stretch beyond the first engagement, with multiple reinforcements running into the fray to keep the battle going. This means that retreating soldiers are much more likely to fall back to additional friendly troops rather than another enemy patrol. Rather than all patrols being evenly distributed and spread out across the map, they are now placed in a much more realistic and tactical way to allow for different patrols/units to support one another as they invade enemy territory or defend their own territory. Repositioned all starting positions of the patrols. Now your enemies or allies will try to sneak around the roads behind enemy lines and may ambush you when you least expect it.

This aura can be improved as the player gains more experience in leading troops and having success in battles as a commander. Once the player reaches Tribune (Imperials) or Snow-Hammer (Stormcloaks), they will gain the same command bonus aura as all other civil war officers. Commanding soldiers now gain veterancy, which means as they gain combat experience, they may level up to "Veteran" or "Elite" status as they fight more battles, improving their combat performance. The player can now assign Commanders/Captains to a Battalion/Cohort to lead and micromanage the soldiers for the player, which can add flexibility and new tactical opportunities. There are now more options to chose from for the tactical commands. Now the player can command multiple groups of soldiers rather than just being limited to one, and plan out larger assaults or defenses. Created a brand new follower framework unique to this mod, which will allow for compatibility for other follower framework mods.

Major improvements to Cohort/Battalion AI. The player will also be protected from arrows in the same way as long as the have the "Deflect Arrows" perk. Stormcloak Battalions and Imperial Cohorts will block and form shield-walls to deflect incoming arrows as they advance towards the enemy, taking no damage to arrows as long as they are facing enemy archers and are not being flanked. Previous "Armies" have been re-organized into Cohorts/Battalions, and are now standardized at 28 soldiers. When a soldier inside a column dies, others will move up to take their place. Formations are much more efficient, much higher quality, and much less script heavy, and will no longer rotate in place, moon walk, or get stuck/fall behind objects.
