Rosenbaum said it was “a false step … to entice someone to do something” - an action which he pointed to judges as a step by step before the pace of receiving.Īt one point, according to Lackowski, he ran to the sound of the gun and encountered Rittenhouse – who appeared “broken, in shock” and fled while still armed. Lackowski said he perceived Rosenbaum as a “babbling fool” and that he turned away and ignored it. The former Marine also testified that he had come across Rosenbaum, who “… was acting very belligerent, had asked him to shoot him bluntly”, but did not consider the man under threat. He said he met Rittenhouse, who introduced himself as an EMT.
Lackowski, who was armed the night of the uprising, said he was traveling to Kenosha to protect local property.
